anyway, he sits down on the edge of the bed and peels off the bandages on his cheek and moves his hair out of the way. it's probably a pretty shallow cut since it's not like it was being forcefully jabbed into his face or anything, but he also still has a bandage on his neck on that same side from a week-old vampire bite that definitely does not still need to be covered, so he might have a tendency to overreact a little. ]
