anyway, he sits down on the edge of the bed and peels off the bandages on his cheek and moves his hair out of the way. it's probably a pretty shallow cut since it's not like it was being forcefully jabbed into his face or anything, but he also still has a bandage on his neck on that same side from a week-old vampire bite that definitely does not still need to be covered, so he might have a tendency to overreact a little. ]
I-I already washed it with soap and everything.

[ the cut being shallow is good for healing at the very least he hums, just a bit worried about the sort of scar it might leave. ]
I could give you just a couple of stitches. Make sure it holds together properly while it heals. Less likely to end up with a bigger scar than need be.

in any case, bedside manner has been something that has alluded dankovsky since his early days at school. still, the nearly two weeks prior to this have worn him down, and nine hours of this strange trial on top of it? well. his voice softens. ]
The suturing will pinch a bit, but should be quick. [ he offers him a very, very small twitch of the lips. almost a smile. ] It's the absolute best way to assure this heals properly. And I'm one of the best doctors the Capital has. It'd be done quickly.

he'll also leave briefly to go wash his hands, returning with his sleeves rolled up and a small travel sewing kit in hand, setting it to the side. ]

[ he follows the timing as he's directed, though he's definitely not breathing as deeply as he should be because this anxious feeling is so tight around his chest. when it's finally over, he exhales in relief, and the little gold light specks floating around at the edges of his vision that show up whenever he might be getting close to fainting fade away. ]
