No, that's part of the frustration. It makes it easier to deal with everything when the logic is to find the "right" case and solve that one. If someone killed of their own volition, it's easier to call that one the worse crime and divert your attention to that.

Death is still death though. And the people who care for Hope would still want to know what happened to him, regardless of his killer's motivations.
