[ well, this is the very last door in the hall, and they say you're supposed to save the best for last, so this door was probably made just for sebastian!!

sure, maybe the other doors so far have kind of sucked, but he has a good feeling about this one for no scientific reason!! so here he is, carefully opening that last door just a little for a peek inside. ]

[ aaaand the door swings open because he let go of the knob when he jumped, and now they're just? in a big metal box i guess???

he runs back over to the wall where the door was a second ago (and probably almost falls over when there's a bump in the road) and weakly pounds his fist on it. ]

What?! No! This was supposed to be the best door!

week 0, sunday

[ that execution was a mess and sebastian hated it, and now he's just kind of wandering around the courtyard as he tries (unsuccessfully) to make sense of what's happened in the past few days.

...he pauses to frown again at the edgeworth statue as he passes by it. ]

[ looks at yuri, then at edgeworth, then back ]

No! This guy is really annoying and he's always causing problems! For me, specifically!

week 2, wednesday night

[ he is just going to be sitting on the floor against a wall somewhere when the party's wrapping up, sipping a glass of water someone (who accurately judged that he needed it) set in front of him earlier. ]

is he equipped to deal with this? is he in a good headspace to deal with this?

yuri glances up the corridor like he might want to consider leaving, but after a moment he does just wander over and stands over him. ]

… Do I ask what happened, or…?

[ somehow manages to tip his water glass a little too much when he looks up and splashes some of it on his shirt ]

week 2, sunday

[ just out in the hall near the vending machines after the execution, eyes red, looking a little dazed. ]

[ blinks and looks over... then nods slowly. ]

Yeah. I guess. [ ... ] Why does this keep getting worse?

week 3, saturday

[ sebastian ran back to his room pretty quickly after everything, but eventually he needs something to eat and comes down to the restaurant. he's purposely sitting as far away from anyone else as he can. ]

[ ah. there he goes.

yuri gives him a look, and then wanders over and takes a seat at his table. ]

You okay there?

[ not really, but he doesn't want to look even more pathetic than he already does, so he tries to sit up straight and blink away his tears. the red rims around his eyes now are a far cry from his makeup from the other day. ]

...Y-yeah.

[ he's very much not meeting yuri's eyes while saying that, though. ]

[ he's getting a drink from somewhere. it looks like he's moving easier than he was earlier, at least? that's something. ]

week 4, saturday

[ whenever sebastian sees yuri after the trial, he'll come over and stand next to him... and sigh tiredly. ]
