[ ok i technically rolled door 3 but i wasn't sure how to thread that so i'm rounding down to 2 because it's hilarious for their first interaction to be completely in the dark
2. You open the door and find yourself in a pitch-black room. You can't see anything, but you have the disturbing feeling that you are being watched. Even if you feel along the walls, you won't find a door out; they are all smooth and unremarkable. Luckily, there doesn't seem to be anything for you to trip over. The feeling of being watched grows more and more intense until, finally, you hear a loud growling noise - and shortly after, you will feel as though you have been set upon by a wild beast. If you manage to fend it off despite not being able to see, you will find yourself out in the hallway, able to see again. If it kills you, you will find yourself out in the hallway, suffering from phantom pains and seeing a shadowy beast out of the corner of your eye every so often for the next two hours, though when you turn to look at it, nothing is ever there.
sooo sebastian is just opening door 2 and stepping into this darkness like any man of good judgment would, and attempting to feel around for a light switch on the wall. ]
