Is that good though? I mean, if it just stayed with one person and they did it again, then if we voted out the right one, we'd be getting... well... sort-of "justice" for last week's case at the same time.
[ he uses air quotes, because this place's justice sucks... but he's still upset about what happened to bucky and still kind of wants to hold the real killer accountable, even if they were under the shadow's influence. ]
...I mean, I would feel worse for them if they were still being controlled. They didn't choose it, you know?
[ after experiencing something similar with refraction, he'd rather they be let free. ]
Besides, we'd only be able to vote for one person, anyway, and we have three victims this week. There's only so much that we can do with the rules they've given us.
[ oh... right... he still feels like he'd rather just have one person keep taking one for the team until they get caught than have multiple people get stuck with this and more of them forced into being killers, but that's not an argument he wants to have when his thoughts on it don't change the reality anyway. ]
We can only vote for one...? But— what if we figure out all three, though?
Even if we do, we'd have to coordinate the votes to tie to even have a chance at catching all three, assuming it's even an option. And they're anonymous, so anyone could change their vote and throw the whole thing out of balance and no one would know.
It might be worth trying if we do figure everything out, but we can't forget that, either.

Instead we've probably got a whole new killer...
