I don't know how to explain those discrepancies, but... Maybe a lot happened between the events of the space station, and what's happening here now?

Well, the notes on it were talking specifically about stuff that happened there, though. Something about sacrificing people to "that creature" for his own gain... she said that never happened.

...And, I mean, weren't they able to find those contracts a little too easily?
