[ Well, that was... something. Sebastian's mostly keeping to his room because he really doesn't want to deal with people being mad at him (even though he feels totally justified??), but he ventures out into the hallway a few times.
Catching a glimpse of Estelle on one of those occasions, he... kind of considers running away because he's pretty sure he upset her (even though he STILL feels totally justified!!). But he's waffling on it for a bit, so if she looks over this way, she's probably just going to see him anxiously watching her. ]
Yeah... It was already bad enough having to worry about getting killed, and now we have to worry about getting turned into murderers ourselves without getting a say in it? It's so messed up!
[Friday afternoon, Estelle is in the library. While she's usually seen here with a book in her hand, it doesn't look like she's managed to tear her focus away from the morning announcement just yet. When she notices Sebastian nearby, she turns to greet him with a polite nod of her head. There's a weak attempt at a smile.]
I suppose it's too much to hope for anything else... But I still wish I could have talked with him more.
[ It sure did... Sebastian's normally perky pomeranian ears are flattened sadly and his eyes are obviously red from crying. ]
Me neither. It's not— How can they just execute someone like that when they know he didn't do it?! It was bad enough when it was someone getting forced into it by the shadows, but this is crazy!
[ Oh. Even knowing Estelle came from a world with magic and everything, that was still a lot more than he expected. He didn't know she'd ever been involved in violent battles like that... or that her world had talking monsters like that one.
...He guesses he gets so caught up in his own stuff that he's never really made a big effort to learn about anyone else's worlds. ]
S-sorry.
[ For accidentally seeing that... ]
Is... is this what you were talking about before...? One of those things you think you should have done differently?
[ Sebastian has, probably unsurprisingly, been in his room crying ever since the invoices showed up. But eventually he needs to get something to eat, and he finally opens his door and (slowly, because everything still really hurts even if the worst of his injuries have been healed pretty well) starts out into the hallway.
[At the Wiwaldi campus, Estelle's out on the grounds, staring out at the moat by the dorms. Her face is a little pale, and her eyes are reddish -- likely from crying. It seems that she's calm now, though.
It takes several moments for her to notice Sebastian. When she does, she turns and nods in a short bow-like gesture.]
[ He's really glad he remembered that handkerchief today, because he's sure been using it. ]
Lot of good it did...
[ There's a bit of a sad laugh there, and he just shakes his head. ]
Y-yeah... me too. I'm sure we could've figured out the others with more time... and... I know it sounds bad to wish we could have voted one of them out instead, but...
[ he really does, especially if one of the others wasn't under a shadow's influence. ]
[ it's nice seeing her look this happy after the endless trashfire that was last week... he smiles too. ]
Yeah, it's really pretty! I think they have indoor gardens at normal space stations for growing vegetables or whatever, but those probably aren't that nice to look at.
[Sunday, after the town hall, Estelle comes to Sebastian's door. There's a light tap against the door -- with her injured hands, she can't properly knock.]
[ he's there to open the door a few seconds later. he looks very tired, but manages to smile a little. from what she can see through the slightly-opened door, the walls behind him are dark blue with gold accents. ]
[Against her better judgment, Estelle is checking out the suspicious new paintings in the hotel. She's checking out a painting of some dogs playing poker! It's very cute. But if Sebastian comes along to see what she's looking at, they'll both find themselves sucked into a swirl of shadows...
And here they are, sitting at a table with a whole lot of dogs. One of them is dealing cards.]
[On Tuesday, Estelle can be found on the new 6th floor! She's out in the hallway, with her hand on one of the unmarked doors. But before she opens it, she'll turn and see Sebastian.]
Oh, Sebastian! Would you be up for some exploring...?
[Estelle's out in the courtyard, sitting on a bench. She'll try to quickly wipe her tears when she sees Sebastian coming, though it's a somewhat futile effort.]
[If Sebastian's looking around the hotel this week, he might hear a gasp coming from the dojo. And should he look inside, he'll see Estelle, looking to the armory entrance with fear.]
I, I thought I'd come here to practice, but...
[She points to the entrance wreathed in shadows. It's ominous.]
[On Friday, Estelle can be found in the cemetery. She stands with her hands clasped and her eyes closed, possibly in prayer, or perhaps just in silent reflection.]
[ sebastian stops a few feet away; he's about to greet her when he notices her eyes are closed, and then he stops himself because maybe it's rude to interrupt whatever she's doing? but also, if she just heard his approaching footsteps followed by a sudden Nothing after he got close, isn't that going to be super creepy?
...he guesses he'll just be polite and stand here quietly and hope it's not as weird as he feels like it is. ]

All right, Frank. Bring it in.
