[ there's a beat, and then he rushes to add— ]
But— I mean, I also just really like being your friend! So, um, if that's not something you'd want to do, that's fine! I won't be upset or anything. I don't want to make this weird.
[ he doesn't really get that many points since it took him like, two months and being passively shamed by an underground gossip alien to build up that bravery, but. ]
