That's... that's good... was that thing just an alien or something?

[ where you had trials, places you liked hanging out, wherever your room was, whatever! even aside from edgeworth a lot of his close cr was here, so he's curious. ]

Sort of? It was a computer program, first. But the scientists around the base wanted to give it a form, so they made this stuff out of organic matter, and tried to get it to go into it.

[a pause.] Um, which it did, and then I think it killed all the scientists except for one, that shoved it back out of the body and into the computer.

[i don't even know if the actual game 7rings got this lore so congrats. anyway, she leads him through the door - into the conference room! this is what it looks like. there’s a long glass table at the head of the room with eight comfy, black office chairs behind it and a large flatscreen TV on the wall above. two more tables line the walls to the left and the right of the entrance, several chairs available to hold at least forty people. there is also what appears to be a window on the left wall, though there is nothing of interest to look at. Just plain darkness.]

Oh. Figures it'd toss us into the trial room.

Whoa... I wonder if they could have done something like that with the virtual alien guys from my last thing... but, um, without the killing part.

This is where you guys had your trials every week? It wasn't some weird rotating thing like we have now?

Did you have virtual alien guys, too? I don't uh, I don't know much about yours.

[...] But yeah. This was it, we came here and watched people solve mysteries for hours just in this room. The rotating thing is weird.

Yeah! They're the... uh... really alien looking statues in the courtyard. Like, the fire thing and the waterfall head and all the mouths.

Huh... It seems like a pretty nice room, at least? Like, it's no courtroom, but it's a little like the PIC meeting room, I guess!

It ain't bad. [a beat.] The what room? Is that lawyer thing?

Yeah, the Prosecutorial Investigation Committee! They don't do criminal trials or anything, but it's where prosecutors who cause problems go to get judged and have their badges taken away, so. It's a little similar!

Makes sense. Miles was the one who wanted to do trials in the first place, so I guess this sort of thing would work for... that.

[she frowns a bit, but it's fine.]

You weren't going to have them otherwise?

We didn't, the first time. Miles wanted it to be more fair the second time.

Then... what did you do the first time?

Uhhh. [a beat.] Kind of just hung out, until the UWU decided it was bored and started offering us deals to kill each other.

Yeah, kind of. The sinners didn't, but we usually all sat in the same area. [she wanders over to the table at the front, and taps the places where people used to sit.]

Despair, me, Greed, Sloth. And then on the other side um, Pride, Lust, Gluttony and Envy.
